The low-pile rug, often referred to as the "classic rug," offers the perfect mix of cozy pile and ease of use. It is the most visually versatile rug, looking good in any room, be it the bedroom, living room, kitchen, hallway, or outdoor space.

When positioning the rug, consider the size of the room and furniture. In large rooms, place the rug under the bed and bedside tables. In small and medium-sized rooms, position it under the lower third of the bed or at the edge. A smaller rug can also be placed next to the bed as an eye-catching feature. The sofa is the measuring stick for the size and width of the rug; in small and medium-sized rooms, place the rug in front of the sofa, while in large rooms, position it under the seating group.

The size of the rug should depend on the size and shape of the table, as well as the chairs surrounding it. The rug should be at least 27 inches wider than the dining table and 27 inches longer if you have chairs at the head. If the table is extendible, calculate the length when it is fully extended.

Our rugs are stored rolled up, so they may take a while to lie completely flat. Unroll the rug with the pile facing outwards a few times to speed up the process. Be patient, and give your new home accessory a few days.

Cleaning is easy; we recommend spot cleaning with a mild detergent and regular vacuuming without a beater bar/rotating brush. Dust and dirt can simply be vacuumed out, and stains can be made to disappear with a little vinegar.

Our rugs are made with machine-made construction, 100% polypropylene, and a pile height of 0.50 inches. The jute backing and hand-carved contours create a high-low effect, adding durability and making them suitable for use with underfloor heating.
