To maintain your rug, we recommend regular vacuuming with no beater bar/rotating brush and spot cleaning with mild detergent. A non-skid rug pad is also recommended for smaller area rugs inside your home, to prevent tripping and allow the rug to taper to the floor. The rug pad should be about an inch shorter than the rug on all sides. Furthermore, our kids' rugs are OEKO-TEX 100 certified, making them safe for use with underfloor heating and able to withstand minor mishaps, while being long-lasting and easy to maintain.

When it comes to positioning your kid's rug, sizes like 2'8" x 4'11" work well in front of the bed, creating a warm feeling on the floor and a starry motif to help your kids drift off to sleep. Larger sizes like 5'3" x 5'3" or 6'7" x 6'7" placed in the middle of the kid's room will quite literally become the center of the fun and games. Due to their extreme durability, our kids' rugs are also ideal for the play area.

If your rug has wrinkles and waves, don't worry. Since our rugs are stored rolled up, it may take a while until they lie completely flat. Unroll the rug with the pile facing outwards a few times to speed up the process, and allow a few days for your new home accessory to settle in.

While we do our best to ensure that our photos are as true to color as possible, due to inconsistencies of various monitors, lighting sources, and digital photography, colors may vary slightly with the actual product. Additionally, some rugs may give off an artificial, chemical smell when they are unpacked, as they are stored in our warehouse in plastic film. This smell is not harmful and will go away after a few days, especially if you position the rug in a well-ventilated room.
